DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS TURGAY AVCI WENT TO BRUSSELS

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Turgay Avci has gone to Brussels as guest of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE).

During his stay in Brussels, Mr. Avci will hold discussions with ALDE officials and deliver a speech at a conference at the European Parliament.

During his stay in Brussels, the Foreign Minister will hold discussions with members of the European Parliament and will attend a joint press conference with several MEPs (European Parliament MPs) to provide detailed information about the Turkish Cypriot people’s cause and the latest developments on the Cyprus Problem.

He is also expected to meet the President of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Graham Watson.

During the visit, the Foreign Minister will also give interviews to various media organizations.

Foreign Minister Avci and his accompanying delegation will be returning to the Republic on Friday, the 7th of December.
