the world has been put into service.
Under the heading "Our Martyrs", the new web page,
www.kibrisliturksehitler.com,

were killed during the 1956-73 period, it also talks about members of the
Turkish Regiment in Cyprus who were killed between 1963-65 and those
Turkish Cypriots who were killed in the British prison camp during the
First World War in 1914-18 and buried in Famagusta.
Giving information about the new web page, the Deputy
Prime Ministry and Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Political Director, Kudret

DE-MINING OPERATION STARTED IN KAYMAKLI
According to information received from an official from
the UN Development Programme's (UNDP) Joint De-Mining Movement for the
Future, it was stated that work to de-mine the Kaymakli region started
yesterday (12 September).
Following the de-mining of the said region, the number
of mine fields that were de-mined would now increase to 4.
Meanwhile, TRNC Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer said
the Lokmacı (Ledra Street) border gate would open and studies to de-mine
the Kaymakli region was continuing. He said following the cleaning up of
mines and booby traps in the Lokmacı border gate the Lokmacı gate would be
open. Prime Minister Soyer added that if the Greek Cypriot administration
adopted the same delaying tactics that it adopted regarding the opening of
the Bostancı (Zoyda) border gate, then even if it was one-sided the
Lokmacı border gate would still be opened.
