Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu yesterday
visited the civil servants trade union, Kamu-Sen, and reiterated that the
Greek Cypriots wanted to change the Annan Plan, which was totally against
the interests of theTurkish Cypriot people, and for this reason, it was not
possible to change the Annan plan in the Turkish Cypriot peoples favour.
Pointing out that it wasn’t possible to
reach an agreement with the Greek Cypriots, who want to change the Plan in
their favour, the Prime Minister said: "Because, first, this Plan will
deprive our people of their homes and country and then it will remove Turkey
and the Turks from these lands. Enosis lies behind the wording of this
Plan".
