In order to attend the Crans Montana Forum, President Denktaž
is going to Switzerland via Istanbul on Wednesday.
Denktaž will depart for Switzerland on Thursday morning and
following the conclusion of the Forum shall return to the island Sunday
night at 23.00.
In the Forum, which this year is taking place on 25-29 June
in Switzerlands town of Crans Montana, the TRNC has been represented
since 1997.

IN GREEK NEWSPAPER: RECIPROCAL UNDERSTANDING IS NECESSARY FOR A LASTING
SOLUTION IN CYPRUS
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdošan, said,
reciprocal understanding is necessary in order for the Cyprus problem to
be solved in a lasting manner
In the interview with the Greek daily Elefterotipiya, Erdošan
referred to Turkish-Greek affairs.
Underlining that it is necessary for both sides
to take steps for a solution in Cyprus, Erdošan stated, Unilateral steps
do not give results. Steps
should be reciprocal. This way
we can proceed in reciprocal understanding.
I believe that as Turks and Greeks we can achieve this.
